VDaaS: Variable Data As A Service

Barberán offers our customers the VDaaS service for the creation of variable data printing files.

What is a Variable Data Printing (VDP) file?

Variable Data Printing technology allows for the customization of each cardboard sheet printed in digital printing jobs. In a file for variable data printing, a uniform static base image is integrated for the entire job, combined with one or several variable areas that can vary on each page. These variable areas may include texts, barcodes, and other images.

What benefits does the VDaaS service offer to our customers?

Although Jetmaster machines are designed to print variable data jobs natively, preparing these files is usually complex and requires specific technical or design resources, depending on the project’s objectives.

With the VDaaS service, the Barberán team takes care of preparing the variable data printing job according to the agreed specifications and delivers the files ready to be printed directly on Jetmaster machines, without the need to invest in additional resources.
